In a manifesto, Yves Klein claimed to have signed the skies above Nice in 1946, creating his first monochrome blue image in the process. In 2010 this signature was removed following a journey to Nice. It was erased under the watchful eye of a municipal assessor and to return the sky to its rightful owners: the public.
